After a rigorous audit process, Severn Partnership is delighted to announce the achievement of our company’s latest BIM accreditation.

We have been awarded BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 certification from the British Standards Institute (BSI) and remain certified to work in accordance with ISO 19650 UK National Annex standards.

James Pike, Severn Partnership’s Scan2BIM Technical Manager who led the audit process, said:

“As we see the demand and value of BIM services in our industry continue to increase, achieving this accreditation will not only demonstrate our capabilities but our ongoing commitment towards BIM.

Here at Severn Partnership, we have watched how the architectural and engineering industries have changed around us, and have responded to this ahead of the curve, offering the latest solutions to our clients through our evolving BIM methodology.

BIM is a core part of our services, providing real value to projects through improved efficiency, minimal costs and a strong focus on sustainability. Having personally been involved in developing and implementing BIM for many years, I am proud of the protocols and procedures transitioned to meet the required standards. This certification provides our clients with the assurance and confidence that Severn Partnership is working to the best possible practices.”

On this occasion, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the audit was carried out remotely by BSI rather than an auditor being present on site. It involved a thorough assessment of our BIM processes, organisational activities, internal systems and resources, ensuring all aligned with ISO standards.

Severn Partnership is an Appointed Party (Tier 2) Contractor providing measured building surveying, 3D laser scanning, 3D modelling and visualisation services complying with BIM in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 incorporating the UK National Annex.
