Matterport 3D Showcases are the next-generation way to visualise 3D spaces in a fast, cost-effective immersive virtual reality walk-around. Delivering professional web-enabled 3D virtual tours and ‘dolls house’ models capable of being shared with an open or secure password protected link.
Matterport is an immersive media technology which means that along with viewing as a web link on a PC, iPad or mobile phone, viewers can navigate in virtual reality (VR) versions of real-world spaces using Oculus Quest VR headsets. Turning real-world places into immersive virtual experiences for marketing showcases, Refurbishment planning, Historic Records, safety briefing – the limit is quite literally your imagination.

What is a 3D Virtual Tour?
3D Virtual Tours allow you to move through and explore existing interior spaces as if you were there. Traditional photographic panoramas tend to be limited to one view per room, with 3D tours you get up to 700 scans in one tour. The camera scans the space in Infrared and provides you with a meshed 3D model, these models can then be used to provide the “Dollhouse” view and “Floor Plan” view.

How long does it take to produce?
Allow between 2 hours and two days, depending on square footage – our projects vary from 90,000sqft to a single house. Once scanned, the footage takes 2 – 3 days to process. We will then provide you with a link, which you can either add to Rightmove, Facebook, emails or alternatively embed into your own website.
How do I view my 3D Virtual Tour?
You will receive a link to your 3D Virtual Tour that can then be viewed on a PC, Laptop, Mobile and Virtual Reality headset devices. If needed, we can also deliver iframe embed code to pass to your web team and view tours as a window on your webpage.
How long is the Virtual Tour hosted online for?
The Virtual Tour is hosted online via cloud storage. The first 12 months of hosting are included in the initial project costs. If you need to extend the tour beyond this, please ask.
